I'm still vegetarian and i don't eat milk and cheese in every single meal. I sometimes eat vegan for days and then maybe have something with egg in it but not an egg as it is and the same is for dairy. Practically only thing that is keeping me vegetarian is almost no vegan option in restaurants, especially daily offer which is only thing i can afford when i have no other choice except cooking and i don't cook well and i don't have real kitchen at the moment.

Yoop . Went for Japanese. Try to read the ingredients because they have fish sauce and stuff. It said veggie dumplings and it had shrimp. It’s hard . You do what you can but vegan make up vegan clothes read ingredients. It’s hard. Good video

In school 🏫 I was a vegetarian for 6 years and I decided to watch the dairy industry and eggs industry and I decided to become a vegan in school 🏫 and as I was a vegan in school my teacher keeps telling me that i needs dairy for calcium and my teacher also says too me that I need eggs for the protein and my teacher also said too me that I could going to the hospital 🏥 as a vegan and I don't believe her and I also told my teacher why I don't eat meat or dairy or egg and I told my teacher that I don't eat meat or dairy or eggs and I told my teacher. That i didn't want to hurt animals because I watch the videos of the slaughter house and I watch the dairy and eggs industry but my teacher says something that made me very upset and sad because my teacher said that if human didn't eat animals they would die and one of my speed to said just stay a vegetarian and my speed teacher said that being a vegan is hard but I didn't listen to my speed teacher and my teacher and I decided to become a vegan because I was already getting sick and trying off dairy and its wasn't that hard because I already didn't like cows milk and I already didn't like normal yogurt and I know that if I decided to go vegan I know that I learn to give up eggs and cheese and become a vegan and some time i gets ready mad at my dad and parents mostly my dad because who won't stop trying to get me to eat meat and know that I'm vegan and don't eat egg or dairy my dad keeps asking me to eat meat like fish and I didn't even like a lot of meat back then and well at the beginning of being a vegetarian was really hard and I got used to it and after a couple years of being a vegetarian i finally decided to watch the dairy and eggs industry because i decided to become a vegan and it wasn't that hard for me to become a vegan because just like it wasn't hard to give up meat and because a vegetarian and it wasn't that hard for me to give up and eggs and dairy and being vegan and it get annoying when my dad keeps asking me to eat meat or dairy or eggs sometimes I get really mad at my dad because he won't stop trying to get me to go back to eat meat and dairy products and I got really mad and walk away with my vegan food sometimes at school when I bring my vegan lunch and and one of my keeps asking me if I going to eat meat or dairy or eggs and I have to say no because I vegan and some at school my friends keeps asking me if I like chicken wings and I said no and last year at the end of the school year my friend asked me if I liked turkey and I said not again and I got really mad at him and I said that I like turkey when they alive not the food turkey so I go really mad at my friends and walk away as a vegan and I do have two other vegetarian friends who say they vegetarian but they not and one of my best friends Whitney like say that she a vegetarian when she was little when i was with her and she was never a vegetarian and I have other friends who say to me that she a vegetarian but she eat chicken i didn't believe her not a vegetarian if you eat chicken and also my teacher said that she had a friend who vegetarian and eat fish and your not a vegetarian if you eat chicken or fish both of them are meat I DECIDED TO QUIT SCHOOL BECAUSE I COULDN'T HANDLE IT ANYMORE AND KNOW THAT I'M NOT GOING BACK TO SCHOOL I'M DECIDED TO BECOME A VEGAN I'M NOT A VEGETARIAN ANYMORE I USED TO BUT I WATCHED THE DAIRY INDUSTRY AND EGGS INDUSTRY AND I DECIDED THAT I WANT TO BE VEGAN AGAIN

Totally late to the video but since veganism isn't a diet, its an ethical stance, I cannot be friends with people who think its kay to be aware of the exploitation and still be enabling and supporting it. And food is what connects people and cultures so as a follower of veganism, you would obviously choose a cruelty-free option. With this, what happens is I see the cruelty and exploitation that a person who I call my friend is actively supporting and enjoying. This friend is otherwise everything you'd want your friend to be. So the ethical stance is what now differentiates my lifestyle vs my friends. And because there is such a stark differentiator,i.e. cruelty supporter and cruelty non-supporter, I cannot be friends with non-vegan people. Friendly, maybe, but friends? No.

You mention a lot that "people are not there YET". As if everyone is gonna turn vegan eventually. Im here to tell you that that will not happen. I hope you know this. :) The more vegans i see (online especially) yelling at others and forcing their religion on others, the more i dont want it. Not that I ever wanted it. Just to clarify that the way some vegans behave makes it LESS, even less desirable

I really looked forward to you guys videos ,but you ended up doing to many guest sit now videos. My favorite videos were when you tried vegan restaurants like the vegan Mc Donald’s or when y’all did the rock paper scissors game to go to places to eat I also loved the sit down talks about vegan at the holidays please come back you guys

I was strict vegan for 2 years. I wasn’t on social media or preaching, but I was very strict and perfectionist with myself. For spiritual and ethical reasons. I was an outcast and bullied growing up so it was isolating but I dealt with it. Feeling out of place at birthday parties. I didn’t have friends growing up so food had always served as my friend. To think that these “friends” were bad for me or actually made of violence was like a betrayal. At the same time that old toxic friend draws some people back again and again. You must have compassion and forgiveness for them because we are battling an addiction. How many times have people gone back to toxic relationships? Drugs? Any addiction? It often takes multiple tries to quit. You cannot shame them or judge them saying their “why” was not good enough. People who eat animal products are battling an addiction and are traumatized (yes the aggressor is also a victim to his own violence) and we will “fail” many times. We have to forgive ourselves and keep going instead of shaming each other. My “why” was strong at the time. And then later it wasn’t because when I felt emotionally low, I reached for what felt soothing and that was the old addiction. At some point I went on a spiritual retreat out of the country and they didn’t cater to my diet. I ate whatever they served. When I went home, I fell off and ate everything. That was two years ago. Now I feel drawn to plant based again and have been vegetarian for several weeks now and some days all plant based. I don’t want to judge myself. I know I have an addiction and will probably be dealing with this my whole life. I am taking those labels off myself. Whatever I end up eating, I am not going to be perfectionist and I am not using the label vegan or vegetarian for myself ever again.

yesss and the fact that a salad is $20 and needs the satiating ingredients removed to be vegan - you're paying the same price as a meat-eater to remove the cheese, candied nuts, meat, dressing, etc so you're getting inorganic lettuce and some tomatoes

As a man its a dilemma for me, since the societal norm is for me to pay for meals. I don't want to pay for animal products so it does create problems and ive been told that im wrong for my beliefs, even by other vegans.

the vegan view truly means a lot to me the channels grown so much insaneeee love it. def cooking segments in the upcoming videos and if you could actually do segments for affordable meals because sometimes y'all rarely discuss how to make veganism accessible if financially some aren't able too if they do begin the vegan journey. I've been vegan since 2015 so not so much that id need that information but it would just be interesting to see a discussion since very broadly veganism can be exclusive... I've noticed in my own life many tend to shy away from considering the lifestyle. also more videos about mindfulness and how to combat overconsumption cause that does tie back to veganism and ethics.
